Now reading, or rather re-reading, Hot Rod History Book Two. I found the section on Bob Ruffi esp. interesting. Ran a streamliner over 143 mph in 1940 on the dry lakes, no less. He was 'way ahead of his time, smart! Sure would like to read a copy of the reference book he used: 'Speed and How to Attain It.'
