Soooo today, 6-20-09 I went into a natural hair salon to see about just going ahead and chopping the rest of the perm out and maybe setting up an appointment for braidlocks. Or at least talk to the lady and see what she thought. She looked at me (along with the other ladies getting perms) like I had lost my mind. I assured her that is what I want to do. She said that my although I could cut the rest of the perm out my hair is to soft for braid locks and that they wouldn't hold. So I thanked her and left. ....this is going to be a long journey.
