I had to go into town, so I took the BMX and the camera and decided to take a few pictures on the way.
Once in town i thought it might be a good idea to visit Nan's grave as it's the tenth anniversary of her death. Conveniently passing and snapping St mary's Church on the way, I took some pictures at the cemetary.
I then realised I was now a relatively short cycle ride from Baffins, where I used to live, so I headed on over to the pond and got more pics. The way back to home passes the football club, so again I sidetracked and got some shots there too.
Nearing home I figured it would be rude not to get some shots of the sea. Then spotted the Hovercraft coming in so buzzed along to get pics of that landing. Looking out to sea I then saw one of the Brittany Ferries coming, so decided it would be cool to get a shot of that entering the harbour mouth... so off to Old Portsmouth I rode.
As I was now only a few minutes from Gunwharf and The Hard, I figured it couldn't hurt to go there too, and get some pics.
Five and a half hours after I set out on a half hour trek, I have returned home, aching, wet from the rain, but beaming with joy at the fun I've had and the journey I've taken.
I must do another day like this again soon.
