~DT~
ORS Replenishing Pack (very moisturizing)
~From the Kitchen~
-Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) -mix with conditioner and coconut oil for DT
-Coconut Oil -mix with conditioner then rinse out or slather onto hair 30min prior to co washing or mix with conditioner and EVOO for DT (adds moisture)
-Honey -1 or 2 tbs with 2 cups warm water, pour slowly over hair after co washing, (don't rinse yet) proceed with conditioning and rinse partially/ completely if you want (cuts frizz)
-Apple Cider Vinegar -2 tbs with 2 cups warm water, dunk my ends in first, then pour slowly over hair, swish it around, let sit a minute, then rinse thoroughly, condition as usual (restores hair's ph balance)
~Shampoo, if you must~
Nexxus Therappe (cleans well, contains sulfate but doesn't seem as drying as others)
Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat
~Miscellaneous~
-You don't have to shampoo everyday! So reduce or eliminate your shampooing! Too much dries the hair.
-Cool water rinse -my final rinse in the shower is done upside down with cool water (I think it helps reduce frizz, makes hair shiny)
-Blowdry with or without diffuser -(my hair takes 8 hours to airdry) If I don't use a diffuser, I dry on low heat and cup hair with my other hand.
I'm trying to airdry more often
-Sleep on a satin pillowcase
-NEVER brush/comb dry hair
Since I am a product junkie, this list is subject to change at anytime! :)
