The purpose of my trip is to help her find a job and give her support while looking, and also to take an excursion into China - Guangzhou (formerly the city of Canton) which now has 10 million people and then around Guilin area and the Li River and to my favourite small town in china which is Yangshuo where the karst mountains are. 35,000 Km Motorcycle Diaries - From Aug 04 to Feb 05 across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Started in Stuttgart Germany and ended in Cape Town, SA. This was my second trip across Africa, which I enjoy travelling through BECAUSE it is the toughest continent to cross on the planet, going through by far the poorest countries in the world, where you are constantly amazed at how generous the people are, and how the children constantly smile even though they have so little.
Countries on this trip included Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece (including Crete and Rhodes islands), Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi,Tanzania, Mozambique Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and South Africa. This is a fairly detailed diary. Dalwallinu, Perth then on to Mandurah and DAWESVILLE (110km south of Perth) where I stayed with Steve again. Because it was winter, we did the east coast, the north and then down the west coast, and didnt do the southern perimeter this is for my family to read
