That's just what I got per E-Mail.
am doing this the easy way: I'll forget about offering people the Co-Branded Mode, in Fotki Mode it works. Now that I can "hide" albums to Non Fotki (premium) Members, or to Non Fotki friends or even to Anybody, I don't need the CBM.

Hello,

We believe, the problem you are experiencing is caused by an old
Internet Explorer bug. If the member's login name contains the "_"
character, IE messes up cookies which results in the password problem.
The solution to this problem would be to change your login name from
"stein_s" to "stein-s" (or something similar) or to use a browser other
than Internet Explorer to view your co-branded page.

Change your login name...??? In my account settings you can change your dislpay name,,, that's easy,,, to change your login name,,, the only way I know is to close and open a new account??? That's not going to happen... Perhaps Fotki staff can "manually" change your login to exclude the _ ??? Make sure you don't loose your photo's in the process???

Geeeezzzz,,, this is getting wierd!!! And my next and prev button or clicking on the photos's to go to the next still does not work right??? Can you test that for me??? Just go to my account and open an album and click on the picture to go to the next,,, Does it work??? Then, try a different area of a picture,,, does that work??? Then try a different region,,, and so on,,, Let me know,,, Thanks,,, Gary

Hello,

1. Actually, it used to be this way all the time. The only exception - your own account where you may see comments from password protected albums on the "All comments" page;

2. Please check your photos now. Some bugs related to this issue have been just fixed.

I got alpha ghosting!!! on my laptop and desktop!!! it's strange.... and the next and prev buttons work only 40% of the time??? Gary///

Fine Gary, the problems with comments in pw'd albums with others did **not** exist before, Then the left "[All] Comments" command would display all the comments from the pw'd albums another member had that I had opened with pw at any given time in the session.

Have you tried to open one of your own pw'd albums in the co-branded mode? No way, even if yo walk in your head down under...

I'll check out the ghosts =)

Greetings World!!! Staying in touch is Easy and Fun with www.Fotki.com - I am currently traveling in Turkey and Greece for 1 month (Sep-Oct 2005) and hardly use my e-mail anymore... It's so easy to post photo's from internet cafe's and to update my global journal between world class sites!!! Remember 1 picture says 1000 words!!!

Also, My Guestbook makes an excellant Message Board where I can post links to recent Photo Uploads and New Journal Entries!!!

Plus Fotki offers Co-Branding so I can easily customize my pages at home or while I am travelling.

How r u doing?
I would love to have a sort of system to arrange my friends myself. Now I have to scroll through a list with loads (today 245) of friends to check whether I want to be on their list or not! If the newest ones are the last ones I only have to check these...right? Last week over 40 people added me, I feel very priviliged but it is very hard to find real friends back in that list and especially to remove the fake ones with rude or fake accounts. (btw I know how Fotki does it)
Do you think we can have a feauture like "arrange by date" ?

would be cool if there would be the same "change appearance" feature like for the public account. even better if there would be a possibility to transfer those color settings to the personal (cobranded) area of ur account ... till now i couldnt figure how to change the color settings there. my html knowledge equals zero ... i tried to change the color within the customized skin, but except setting it all to black (which wasnt the intention .. i wanted "my" grey" ) and to mess up the whole page i managed nothing .. lol ..lucky that i backed up the original settings ;) any hint (code) how i can set my backround (and text)to the colors of my public pages are greatly welcome

I think in future, member icons will be of a constant size.

And from another point, I guess, it is much more easier to remember a person regulary writing to comments by userpic.
And only a quick look is enough to find out, who`s writing.

I think we`ll mention in our plans this feature. We also wanted to let users modify left menu e.g. to write not "About me" but "About Us" for example.
Anyways, modifying styles should become easier, I think we`ll try to solve this problem in nearst future.
