Sounds like you're getting a feel for the foot soldier's experience in the jungles of Vietnam (minus the bobby-traps and occasional bullet).
And what luck--you get to have a picnic lunch with Daniel Ortega on the way back from your clandestine border crossing into Nicaragua! I guess it's a great way to avoid those pesky visa requirements and departure fees!:)
