It's gonna be kinda whacky around here for a while...I'm working on some new graphics for the site since I have a little more free time this weekend. I'm so sick of that other layout...ick. So hopefully this one will be better. I need a little change!

Well I'm back...at least for a while :)
I have decided to take a different approach to personalized tags. That direction would be a Yahoo Group. The reason is because I need a place that is more close-knit and lets me get to know the people who enjoy my work better. By starting this group I will be able to communicate with the members and hopefully get more feedback. I think this will help me know what you all would like to see, and it will make me a better tag artist. So thank you for understanding my decision to do this.

If you enjoy my work and like to receive signature tags, then I hope you will consider joining. Here is how it works:

1. Sign up (link below)
2. You will get an email that just lays out some basic rules. Nothing complicated I swear.
3. Upon joining my group you will fill out a small form in the Yahoo Groups Database.
4. I will make all names in the Database for all of my tags and send out an email letting the group know that a new tag is ready to be picked up here on my Fotki Site.
5. Pick up your tag and leave a comment letting me know you got your tag!

It's that simple!


[You also have the option of being chosen as Member or the Week and receiving a specially designed tag just for you. If you would like to be chosen, go to the group page, then click on Database. Fill out the Member of the Week Form by clicking 'add record'.]

Just letting everyone know that all my tags have been moved to my private album TEMPORARILY. I went on hiatus making graphics for a while, and now it will be on even more of a hold because of a major computer virus that will more than likely wipe everything off of my computer and I will have to remake EVERYTHING. (Ugh so friggin mad). So until I can get my computer back and running, there is nothing on my site right now. So sorry for the inconvenience!

I'll be back when my creativity returns.

That didn't last long did it? Well I guess I just have to accept the fact that I have a total on/off switch when it comes to creativity; some days its on, other days it's off. But I have to admit, those couple days I really felt like I had lost all of my creativity and I thought I'd never get it back!

So here's what's new here at DGG:

*I have decided to put up a PayPal Donation button...this is so I can save up to get a Premium account here at FOTKI, which equals more space for my graphics, more customization, and some other great stuff. But it's $50 a year so that's a quite a lot of money. All donations are very much appreciated! (Don't worry, ALL OF MY GRAPHICS ARE FREE...this is just a donation)

*I'm adding glitter names as I get them done in the order of the alphabet...so far I have done a handful of D names. (Glitter name requests will be up as soon as I get caught up a little more)

So that's the new stuff here. I've also been doing a bit of brainstorming of what other types of things I can add in the future. These include:
-Tags (coming sooner than later)
-Plain Glitter Names: these will be on transparent or black backgrounds. The reason my designer glitter names are only on white backgrounds is because transparent backgrounds do not look good with a lot of images and colors in a graphic. Once they are saved transparent, they lose a LOT of quality, and it totally defeats the purpose of the glitter name. But with plain glitter names on transparent backgrounds, they will look ok on light colored backgrounds, but still not on dark backgrounds...so I will also be doing them on black. Ok I'm totally rambling on...
-Icons/Avatars
-Mini Glitter Names
-Blends

Ok so that's what I have thought of so far. If you have any ideas that you might want to see, please let me know (ideas will be considered but I do not guarantee that I will make them.)

I haven't been in the mood to make any graphics lately. Recent events over at AOL, along with some other personal issues have gotten in the way of my creativity and desire to make anything. I hope this doesn't last long. I'll be back making graphics when I get out of this "funk".

Ok so here's the deal:
I have posted the glitter names that I have done...so far. These include A-Z, plus special requests. Please be aware that I am still in the process of getting names done. A lot of the names from E and up are older glitter names, and are not some of my best works ;)

I decided to post them because I know a lot of you are getting tired of waiting for the rest of the names, and I figured this will tide some of you over for now if your name is posted. LOL!

Basically, along the way of creating these glitter names, I have discovered that I like to spend more time on each of them individually so that I can create something that hopefully you will enjoy as much I enjoyed making it! I don't just consider these to be glitter names anymore, but sort of my own one-of-a-kind designer glitter names that I put a lot of love and as much imagination as possible into!

And that is why it takes me so darn long to make these, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding!

So grab them while they are still here, because I will be getting rid of some of the older ones in the near future (and replacing them with *hopefully* better ones!)

*Also, I am in the process of making a new page that you can request names from, so until it is complete, I am NOT TAKING REQUESTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. But, you can send me your name and I will add it to my list of names to make in order of the alphabet. (Does that make sense??? Hahaha)Thank you!!!

Well, I did it...I moved to FOTKI. I have to tell you though, it feels kinda strange not having Dragonfly Ghost Graphics on AOL anymore, but at the same time, I feel like this is where it belongs.

As you may have noticed there are no graphics here yet, only my site designs. Sorry about that...I am still in the process of making the big move, so please bare with me. I will update here when everything is partly back to "normal".

But I would really like some feedback about the site so far...please have a look around and let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions for the site...or maybe you would like to see me design a certain type of tag in the future...please let me know.
