Back in Sydney after a fantastic journey of 9000 kilometres through Australia.
I enjoyed every minute in this country with the wide open spaces and friendly people.
Beautiful nature, with a variety of animals and birds and lots of contrasts that constantly challenge the senses.
Hope to be back one day to explore the western and northern parts of the country and to return to the silence and peace of the Outback.
Take care and enjoy your weekends! Saturday, September 15, 2007 G'day Mates
Made it alive through the Outback and is now relaxing at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. The journey so far has taken 7100 kilometres.
Visiting Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo tomorrow. Saw some road signs to the zoo with huge photos of him. So sad that his life ended so soon.
So lots of crocodiles tomorrow.
Crocs Rule! Tuesday, September 11, 2007 G'day Mates
A quick greeting from Alice Springs. The Outback is an incredible place. Tomorrow we are hitting the dirt road through the desert, towards Brisbane.
Stocked up on vegemite sandwiches so no worries, that will keep us out of the creeks!
PS. The journey of 4000 kilometres has brought us 5 life kangeroos and 17 corpses next to the road! Friday, September 7, 2007 G'day Mates
We had a fun day exploring Melbourne. Had perfect weather.
Today we are taking the Great Coastal Road to Adelaide. Who knows we might even see a kangaroo!
Enjoy your day!
Gypsy Tuesday, September 4, 2007 G'day Mates!
Greetings from Snoopy land!
We had a great day and evening in Bathurst visiting Peter and Family. We even went for a spin around the famous Bathurst racing track.
Tommorrow we are heading towards Melbourne, a long drive and hoping to see some live kangaroos.
Greetings!
Gypsy
PS. Snappie and Snoopy have a date for breakfast: vegemite on toast! Yummy! ;-) Sunday, September 2, 2007 G'day mates!
Made it to Kuala Lampur! Had a good flight. There was a huge selection of movies on the plane, so the 12hours were gone in no time.
Now relaxing for 4 hours and then the 8 hour flight to Sydney.
