I Bc'd on October 5 2009. I've only been about 4 days with my TWA lol. I love it so much. I'ma going to somewhat miss it when my hair grows out. I have decided try out Curly Girl for a few months and see how my hair responds to it. Hopefully if I follow it correctly it will keep down the frizzies. I stopped used my shampoo and I dont use conditioners with cones. Im using herbal essences which only has water soluble 'cones. I'm using cone and sulfate free herbal essences gels and mouse as well. I have carol's daughter hair milk, and a smoothie. I also have Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue. I dont have a lot of CG friendly products except for the ones I just purchased. I'll buy more soon and post pics and updates. I also have some GNC womens vitamins called Ultra Nourish hair. I started taking those yesterday. I was doing CG method for a few days. My hair was very dry and I hated it! I couldnt stand it! I bought the Herbal Essence Total Twisted conditioner and I left it in. I also got the totally twisted mouse and gel. I applied it while my hair was wet. My hair was crispy as well. When I used only the Totally Twisted Conditioner alone it left my hair moisturized at first then a few hours later my hair was soooo dry.
Soooooo I went back to the Organix coconut milk conditioner. I really love this conditioner. I left it in and then I put the HE T.T mouse and let it dry. Right before I left the house I put Carol's Daughter Hair Milk in it. I loved it. This will probably be my routine as I cant keep buying products! I'm a broke college kid! I will probably buy some new products as my hair grows and requires something different. Can't wait to see what it will look like! Will it be "big" hair will it grow down? I guess I'll have to wait and see!
