Today I am at work doing nothing. They still don't have my workstation set up yet, so I've been sitting at a desk for almost 3 weeks now just surfing the internet or reading my book.

So yesterday I was pretty pissed because I was having trouble finding a natural hair salon so I can finally do my BC. I was going to ask my mom to do it but, no offense to her, I don't trust her with scissors on my head....And I don't know people who do hair, so I thought I was screwed. I called LocStar and they couldn't get me in the weekend, so I have an appointment on Monday. I have to leave work early, but I'll be aight b/c I'm not doing shit anyway.

At this point, I am a little scared but not as much as the first time because I SORTA know what to expect. It's like my whole life all I've known was a relaxer and if you didn't have a relaxer you had "dreadlocks" and I know I definitely didn't want that. But yeah, I'm glad I am educating myself and trying to get out of the mindset that long straight hair is the only beautiful thing.

Yup, this is gonna be BC #2, and hopefully the last one. I really don't plan on getting relaxed again, I love how my hair feels. I think I've got about 2.5 - 3 inches of natural hair now, so that's fine.

I have a few products which I'll post in an album once I start using them again and tell yall what they're like. Now, I'm not a product junkie, but there are a few things I wanna try.

Wow, I'm rambling....My last relaxer was May 2006, then my last texturizer was February 2007. So it's been almost 10 months.....I wanted to transition more, but I really can't afford anymore micros and my texturized ends are already dying so there's no use of trying to save them. I kinda felt that my hair should have grown a little more than it has since February, but maybe it's because I messed with it too much. I did do my hair like everyday and put curling gels and all these products and I don't think I clarified enough, so yeah. Well I got this recipe from motown girl for a scalp exfoliator. I think it'll come in handy later on.

That's pretty much it for today. I'm just counting down the days till FREEDOM!!!
