    That's it! You are exactly right! I have read through your journaling and your handling of this situation and I have to say this is FAR more effective than some lame money draining court proceeding that no one would probably hear about. I am so sorry this happened to you. I HATE when company's forget that one individual is part of their sucess. You matter! Your experiance is important! You SHOULD be or MUST be compensated for your suffering.

    NO! It's not JUST hair that will grow back. Just like the woman who owned the salon that Brittany Spears walked into. She refused to shave her hair for fear of being sued. She gave Brittany the clippers and let her do it herself. Why? Because her hair is part of who she is. She's "marketed" with hair. No one wants a "bald" Brittany! I remember a tv show that used to come on called Felicity and the main character (caucasion) had a HUGE following. Everyone LOVED her long hair. Well, a few seasons later she chopped her hair off to a small tight BEAUTIFULcurly afro. Frankly , she was so pretty she looked good either way but her fans were FURIOUS. They had news segments on male fans who were mad at her for cutting her hair.

    So I say all that to say that YES your hair is important. It does matter! Especially for a public person as yourself. You said they can't ignore the "small people". Beleive it or not there are some smaller than you. There are many who don't know how to write as well as you, operate a website or even have the persistance and drive that you have. You are speaking for many women who walked out of there mad and disappointed. Feeling like virtual mutes because no one cared or listened. Thank you for doing this. I will be praying for justice to be served. Oh yes! I will go to the Father because Corporate greed is a disease that needs to be stopped.

    They fail to realize that one person built the company and one person CAN TAKE IT DOWN! They must settle this and be fair and honorable business owners or prepare to close their doors.

    you go girl! I'm proud of you, I don't even know you and I'm proud of you lol, watching this story carefully I can't wait for the outcome of this story they must pay 100% they would certainly never do this again, good luck

    Hey,
    sorry about what happened to you. But you are talking to a former employee of super cuts, great clips. and hair cuttery (atlanta Ga) first let it be known that I am down for anyone that goes against the "establishment" so keep your head up and fight for justice. The other thing I want to share from the cosmotologist perspective is that you want to make sure you recount exactly what you told the person to do. The reason is that many times clients will come in and not effectively communicate what they wanted and I was always reasking the question to confirm what they wanted. For example: a client would come in and say I want a trim, well a trim to me(the beutician) is either taking off 1/2 an inch and then showing them what a 1/2 in. looks like to me. Then of course proceeding or advising the client that they have split ends so your trim should be at least an inch all over. This is just one of the scenarios that has taken place. So.... my point is that dusting of the ends is a very broad statement and you would needed to be more specific and actually show the person with your hands what you want and where you expect your hair to fall after the cut is done. Now on the other hand I will say that Great Clips does not train there employees with a methodical way of cutting hair like super cuts, So it's possibel you could have gotten a newbie who was basically learning on your head. How do I know, I once was a newbie myself and butchered some heads.

    So hope this has been helpful and over all the most important thing is that you try to remember what you said to the person.
