i read a lot. i have a terrible memory. Half of the time i don't remember the author, sometimes i forget the title. Often someone will give me a name of the book and half way through the plot i realize i read it. how embarrasing.
One of the better ways of memorizing i realized was to write a bit about it. this was it stays fresher in your mind. and if not i can always go back and reference it.
Another reason is because every once in a while i go to the store to buy books. Most of the time i don't know what to buy. But i do know for sure that at some point someone recommended something or that i did want to read something. I just can't remember what. So why not write it down.
