So sorry to hear about your and others, how shell I put politely, misfortune with the luggage, and I’m not being sarcastic or trying to be funny. Seriously, I was reading your letters and felt very upset, I can only imagine how you felt… I personally didn’t experience what you have, but after watching “Meet the parents”, and listening to other people’s “lost luggage” sad stories, my wife and I always pack the most necessary items in a carryon luggage, especially when travel with a kid, the carryon items are supposed to lust for at least a day. I’m sure you’re thinking now “Eah, now you’re typing all that and trying to be smart, smart a$$, giving all the advices and bringing all the bad memories, as if it couldn’t happen to you, ugh”… I’m just trying to be sympathetic and give you all the support I can offer from the terminal of my PC, and hope that nothing even remotely similar happens to any of us. Cheer up Olka, I’m glad you are back and safe and sharing with us your pictures and stories. Welcome back.

    ******
yeah? did you know that BA allowed a very small carry-on bag that barely fit my camera equipment?
for 4 days i would have packed a carry-on, always do! this, unfortunately wasn't an option... on top of that the customer service was so unfriendly and unhelpful i was at owe!

if you look the first letter is quiet nice as oppose to the second one when i realized all my clothes were soaking wet and ruined.
    ***************************************

Okay Ol’ka, I’ll keep in mind not to fly with BA for all the reasons you have mentioned, although I have to admit they have bloody good-looking flight attendants, but that shouldn’t be enough for a reason to fly BA. Or is it? … Neeah, I would rather have my entire luggage in one piece and a pleasant and warm vacation. Good thing you had you camera in carryon, love the pictures. Thanks for the feedback and once again it’s good to have you back.

Hi there. Finished “Faith of the Fallen” by Terry Goodkind. I can definitely recommend it; from 1 to 10 it’s 9.5. The last chapters I finished at work, and I didn’t care, I just couldn’t stop reading. The story is great and the characters you can set the standards to, men and women. Anyway, read it, you’ll enjoy it. Chao.

Hi Olga. I started reading your journals now, I hope you don’t mind. The more I see of you, the more I need to understand you. Now, don’t get freaked out, I’m just a typical Russian guy, and as I said before I’m not trying to get anywhere, but for some reason you fascinate me, and I truly admire you. Judging by your pictures and your journals you are a fascinating person, that’s just my opinion. Aaaanyway, I like to read myself, a lot, well not more then seeing a good movie, but when I start reading I can’t stop. For me the hard part is the start, until I get the imagination going in my mind’s eye of the characters and places, it takes awhile, about 10 to 15 pages. But picking up a book for me is the easiest part, I can read anything, and I do sometimes judge by the cover. The book I’m reading right now is “Faith of the Fallen” by Terry Goodkind, it’s the sequel to the “Soul of the Fire”. A lot of ancient wizardry, so fare so good. Will let you know if it worth reading it when I finish it. What I can recommend to you now is “The sum of all fears” by Tom Clancy, and the book is nothing like a movie, it’s just good. Alright now, I’ll talk to you later. Poka.

this is great. Get this...I recently got a call from my cell phone provider to offer me an upgrade. The operator was audibly hispanic. I had told him I was having trouble understanding him. He replyed: "..you speak spanish, no ? " I said , "not really" I found out that when I changed my main screen greeting from "Hi JD' to "Hola JD" they found out.

I think I might be overdoing it... I went beyond "enjoying life to the max" - still, I'm not going to hell, yet... Well, at least I'm sure I'm not getting too little out of life :-)

I'm "enjoying life to the max" though it may be on the lower side of the score. Hmmm, at least I'm not going to hell...though it's still early
