Sure,I like writing.Sometimes I feel a little ashamed of my performance re writing,as,when I was in the army (six years).I would write about all the very exciting things we did during and after our basic training.I wrote pages about the tank and other guns I was trained to use.The obstacle courses,treks,hardships,mates.Often my letters ran out to six full pages,but,here is the sad part.I never posted them.Crazy! Now,being a parent my self,I realise how much my folk back home,out on the farm would have loved them.My mother and father have,of course,moved onto "the happy hunting ground" so,although we can't dwell too much on looking at life through our rear view mirror,it is'nt a bad idea to have a quick look back now and then.We can no doubt enhance our future by drawing on our experiences in the past.

Always a good time to reflect on our past year.Our goals we set and what we achieved this year,will no doubt,be in some way,incorporated into those we map out for the coming year of 2007.So glad we cannot see exactly what is our lot for the forthcoming year,as this would,in many ways,remove all traces of the adventure which will beset us a little further down the track.Luck will play only a small part in our future,as,except for some health aspects etc,beyond our control,mostly,we make our own luck. To all our online and offline friends,have a great Christmas period break,take special care so you can enjoy the future you contribute to in 2007.
