11/15/07 I am doing the baggy method faithfully day and night. I hope that I am not over doing it! I relaxed my hair last on Nov. 4th. After I found this website I decided to stretch for 12/16 weeks. I am hoping to hold out to at least Jan 27th (12wks). I will determine at that time if I can hold out any longer! I am new at this and have not found a set regimen. I have been reading up and taking tips and tricks from other people and hoping they will work for me. I have been wearing protective styles everyday. I refuse to use any direct heat during this stretch. I am so inspired by everyone and am amazed at how encouraging and open everyone is about there regimen. I am hoping that I will be APL at the end of this stretch. Then I will set my sights at BSL.

I am happy about the way my hair is responding to all of the TLC it has received. I have learned a lot about black hair. I also enjoy reading about everyone else's journey. I am hoping to avoid some of the pitfalls you ladies have warned me about. I am nearing 5 weeks post and I am excited to see all of the NG! I have pretty much worn my hair up in buns and in drawstring ponys. Hopefully this will payoff.

I finally made it to APL and ladies let me tell you this was no easy feat! I am hoping to make it to make it to BSL by Dec....we'll see! WARNING...GRIPE SESSION BEGINS HERE ---------> This seems like the slowest journey i've ever taken!! Don't get me wrong, the rewards are great and I'm in it for the long haul but if you're looking for instant results then this journey is not for you!!! GRIPE SESSION ENDS HERE----->
Everyone on this site that started at a short/medium length like me and have acheived long beautiful tresses (like I want) have been at it for at least 2 or 3 years. This encourages me to continue my journey. I think i'm going to focus on added thickness and shine. My hair has been looking a little dry lately. I rinsed with Apple Cider Vinegar today and it felt better instantly! I will see if it made a difference once i remove my rollers. I might add this to my regimine.
