Curly Girl routine ~ Take Two
Ok, so there wasn't a Take one journal, but seeing as how I am getting back on the CG wagon after partially falling off for a while, this journal is take two. ;)
My hair looked really great for about a year after discovering CG. Then a combination of a cheap hair dye, and especially getting pregnant with baby #2 made my hair impossible. Looking back, I think if I would have tried hard enough I could have gotten it back into some shape with some major deep treatments or something, but I got so frustrated that after a while I just gave up. For the last 2 years, I have been what you might call a modified CG. I didn't use shampoo very often, and still stayed away from most 'cones, but didn't worry about them too much, and used some products with them. Of course, they didn't help, and my hair just got worse instead of better. *sigh*
Well, for the last couple weeks I have been re-reasearching new products and things, and have been working on taking much better care of my hair. I would just like to find a good routine that I can have and not have to think about much when baby #3 comes. Oh yeah, did I mention I was pregnant again? lol Yes, I am due with baby curly girl #3 in October. (Hoping for curls anwyay. My 4 year old has super cute curls, and my 16 year old has some little curls starting to show. She doesn't have much hair yet though, so we will see how they turn out.)

My hair is 2b-c, fine, quite porous and I think medium density. (I haven't counted though.)
It is medium brown, but dyed blonde.
