| | Critter Adventures Recent Comments Facebook 2006-01-31 7:32 AM Here it is! The daily life of our pets, aren't you lucky!! Jonah is very weak but seems to be getting better. He had two barium x rays and is getting antiobiotic shots twice a day. It may be some sort of birdie flu, one of four influenzas going around. I think he is enjoying the hand feeding way too much and has reverted to an imfant state. From the looks of it, he likes laying around and being babied!! (Alot...) He gets to watch his DVD's of The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Hawaiian Melodies CD between his naps. For now, Tug is a giant spoiled yard ornament, and he seems to like it that way! One day we will ride and show again but not right now :) 2006-02-16 11:43 PM To our great Friends and Family, Jonah passed away today, but he put up the good fight. He held in there till we got home and Rich got to feed him one more time and we all took a nap on the bed together. I woke up about noon and he had just passed away in his sleep. We are so sad but know we were blessed to have the little Jonah as our pet for his short life on earth. We want to thank everyone for always taking the time to ask about our little critter. Love, Michelle n Rich :) 2006-04-15 3:08 AM Howdy all, life is good! On our days off it's pretty much about riding the motorcycles and the snowboards. Maybe next time we won't fry our faces out on the slopes and will learn about some SPF! "Tug" the horse is still a big chubby yard munching machine and looking healthy, happy and spoiled as ever! One day he will get rode again too. 2007-02-17 7:39 PM In December the new puppy Stitch came on board. if you haven't been bored to death with his phots yet, of course you can find them in our Fotki Albums, and even on Youtube. Stitch is half Pug and half Boston terrier, and just a whole bunch of cute! Stitchie finally got the idea of peeing outside. The other night I took him outside and was holding him on my chest like when you burp a lil baby, and he laid his little head on my shoulder, awwww. My husband said he was watching Stitch, and I knew he was because I could see him sqinting in the reflection of the back door glass ( I did thnk it was kind of weird) I went outside thinking , "Awww, Stitch put his head on my shoulder" When I came back in hesaid Stitch looked at him and he "swore" the puppy looked up and gave him the "Stink eye" I thought it was so funny! He was convinced he gave him a dirty look, like ha, ha I got her wrapped around my paw!" Pepe the has been screaming "I'm goona get youuuuu!!! lately at the top of his lungs when were upsatirs still sleeping in the morning. he gets kinda loud, and it gets kinda annoying. Well, my hubby snuck down the stairs while Pepe was feverently screaming. Pepe was so into it screaming, "i'm gonna get youuuuu" over and over at the top of his little lungs. He said his "beady little eys were even shut" and said he could see his shrively little bird tounge all moving around. He went down the stairs and said Pepe was screaming so loud he didn't even hear him come down. He snuck right down behind him on the cage. He finally he saw my husband behind him, and knowing he was totally in trouble, Pepe himself said quickly, "HEY!", "NO"... "STEP UP!" That little terd! The second time he caught him ( being the very next day) the ppor man was trying to hide behind the book case . Pepe caught him, and his voice just trailed off too "I"M GONNA Get yooo........." and he was kind of wispering it toward the end. Tug and Pepe seem to have perked up since Stitch has arrived, maybe they sense the competition. 2008-01-28 1:24 PM We have added two new little critters to our happy family! A quaker parrot named Pepe and a half Boston Terrier and Pug puppy named Stitch. I'm sure you have seen their photos by now. Either I have tortured you with them or you've seen them here on Fotki. Pepe has been with us over a year and Stitch is about one now. Pepe is saying all kinds of crazy things about this family like, "I'm gonna get you, you're silly, step up, I'm pepe, and braaaaa haaa ha ha ha" and finds time to meow like a cat and bark like a dog. Matter of fact, I can hear him meowing in the other room right now. We have started showing Tug-A-Rue again, in a local small show series. He's been doing pretty well for literally not having anyone on his back for over a year, and transitioning to a new bit. We are all heathy, happy and well, and are hoping to get some snowboarding in this season! 2009-05-21 3:48 PM About 6 months ago we went to a baby shower for a friends daughter. There was this beautiful tiny Pug tied up with a rope that we just fussed and fussed over. Turned out she had belonged to a 90 year old man who couldn't care for her and then ended up with a few different folks. The kind lady who had Chloe in her care, gave her to us at the party. We went straight to Petsmart for a new bed harness and a lot of treats, then we headed for the vets. Chloe had a little ear and urinary infection but was fixed up in no time. Since then we have camped, gone on a road trip with Chloe and Stitch, and she had become quite socialized. She has the cutest, goofiest little face, and just flips out for milk bones, t-bones and puperonies. We are super happy that she is the new addition to our little family! | | |
