Moisturize/Seal - as needed, my hair also loves oils!

Scalp massages - every 1 to 2 days

Styles - wear a stretched style each month which includes the following: 1. flat-ironed (silkwrap) 2. large twist/twist-out & 3. two braids or plaits underneath a wig

Heat - Before going in to the salon, I always shampoo, deep condition, and detangle my hair atleast 1 to 2 day before my visit. I get silkwraps. At the salon my stylist (Shay) shampoos my hair, the applys a deep conditioning scalp treatment and then sits me under the steamer. The steam treatments are wonderful. After this, my hair is rinsed and goats milk is applied for detangling. Then I sit under the hairdryer until the hair is dry (lol). My hair is blowdried, gently, with a handheld dryer and a brush/comb. She then flatirons my hair using 1 pass for each section of hair. She wraps my hair with saran wrap and sits me under the dry for an additional 5 to 10 minutes. In the end, my hairs silky smooth and straight with lots of body and shine. She sometimes uses Edges on my edges to ensure that they completely straight. She does not use any type of oil or other product on my hair during this process. I have been going to Shay for a year and I love my stylist...lol!

This is very simple and has worked very well for me since Nov. 2011. I think I have found a regimen that really does work for my hair. This makes me so happy!!!...God Bless!
