My first month of transitioning

This month wasn't really hard because my hair doesn't have that much new growth. It only got hard after I cut my hair because I didn't have time to style it. So I decided to get some microbraids! :) So far I love my braids because I'm usually so busy that I don't have time to do my hair. I want to wear braids the whole time while I'm transitioning.

Month 2 is officially over!

Well I made it through another month and I really can't believe it! I was going to try to make my braids last until Spring Break, but I really don't think I can do it! They keep falling out, and actually I can't wait to begin to play with my real hair today. I plan on going to the store today to buy some small rollers and I'm going to do a cute roller set. I'll be sure to post pics of my new 'do.

3 months and counting...

Sometimes I still can't believe that I am actually doing this. I have a bad habit of doing something and then giving up, but I haven't given up! I love my natural texture!!! I can't imagine going back now! The only thing that I regret is cutting my hair before I made my decision. I think it would be easier for me to style if it was longer. But this is a learning experience and I can't complain.
