A/C went out on me after 3 years.Well stuff can happen.
So I took it to the dealer where I bought it from.
Dropped it off on Monday aftenoon and got a rental. I think the dealer and the technicians don't know what they doing. They told me that the Control module (Center console) is not working and they have to replace it. I said "do what you have to do as I have extended warranty" with a $ 100 deductable. So far so good. Then they called me up and told me they repalced the module and cleared all error codes but one is comming back with "HVAC Circuit High" They told me the problem was with my after market navigation system (Computer) and that I did something on the wiring on the A/C circuit that caused the short. By that time I was smoking (not a cigarette that is) . In order to repair the short they need more time to troubleshoot and want to charge me extra $85 per hour. After that I payed te dealer a visit.
I talked to the service writer and told him " listen buster, that computer is in the car since october 2005 and worked ever since, so did the A/C. Now you tell me I made a mistake by wiring it in". I think he blusched. I sad get the service manager here now.
Talking to the service manager and told him lets go to the car and I will disconnect the "After Market Navigation System" and you will fix that car.
So we went to the car, I took out the clove box, (about 7 sec.), disconnect the antenna, the cable to the monitor, GPS antenna and the 3 wires to power the system, 12 Volt, ACC and Ground. Then I told him, now the systen is completely removed from the car and the short or whatever is still there, now get your tech to fix that car or we go one step higher (DCX). He said OK, we will do whatever it takes to fix it, but I have to get the electrical guy involved, but he was not in and I have to wait till tomorrow. (all that computer stuff in those cars and they have only one electrical guy) sure sounds not right to me.

big valley dodge hands down top notch with mods and all..replaced motor in timley fashion... and mike in service is the man kind understanding..and very helpfull..even when i owned my subaru mike was there lending a hand
so they get a 5 rating...as for west oaks chysler..a so called 5 star dealer would get a 0 from me. not helpfull even when my car dies on the freeway..there servie lady said you can tow it out of here... which i did...best move ever big valley doge gets all my future service!!!!!

The owners are old-school, and know their cars as well as have fun with them. The Primary owner keeps a custom painter on commision for doing one-off's and when the service tech saw my CAI on the Maggie, they were quick to offer thumbs up, and suggest that I clean it more often than the recommendations. They've also done custom paint for me, and the body-shop person was a great individual to work with and was quite clear on what he felt comfortable painting. (eg. no old armor-alled plastic) I've never had a fight with the service manager for anything. I've had a broken plastic retainer, leaking transaxle, and a couple minor "concerns" and everything has always been taken care of no questions asked. I do think it helps that I show pride in my vehicle that makes the dealer show extra care, but unsure of that.

went there when enginge exploded and service advisoir told me to tow my car away if i didnt like there service...and i did..glad that was the only experince there...supossedly a 5 star dealer ... i dont think so!!!!

Both the sales and service are not 5-star worthy. Made appointment to have service on my bee through the dodge website for the afternoon. I work very early in the morning and prefer to have the work done in the afternoon. When I get there, they tell me that, despite what the website says, they only take appointments in the morning. I believe this is to facilitate their scheduling to make sure that all cars are done at 5PM, no matter what time they start them (and that no one will be waiting for them in the onsite waiting area). I guess that i'll just have to take it somewhere else.

Bought the car from the dealer, was told that (upon inspection prior to purchase) that they would repaint the portions (all the jams-hood, doors, trunk areas) that I could still see primer, that the problem would get taken care of. they had my car for 4 months. car came back 3 times with me seeing the grit from the sand paper, all the doors misaligned, the nuts that hold the doors on with the paint all scratched off in addition with them doing more damage to my car ( large dents and 2 scratches) that they alleged I did and were going to charge me when I only had the car the weekend from purchase till when I was instructed by the dealer to take it to their shop! WTF!
Is their a negative rating?
I would reccomend everyone with a 2006 300, any model to really look or have a bodyshop inspect theircar and look to see if you have primer exposed in these areas as well ass the shock towers. Every car I inspected at the lot at the time, especially the patriot blue 300s were in the same if not worse condition. Chrysler blamed their painting machine, but........ you make the decision. If I expect that their are 100s to 1000s of the darker colored cars out thier, unknowingly to thierowners, we could get a recall.

They rant and rave about being a Five star dealership, not in my book! I guess a negative star would be a black hole which is apropos, being as they suck. The way their parts manager spoke and treated me after I bought my car and their unwillingness to correct the problem I had with their option they installed wil never earn any repeat business other than the $7.80 oil/filter change they offered with purchase, they are also tring to get out of this because they didn't realize the 5.7 hemi came with such a big oil pan, that also says something for them DUH read the manual of the cars you sell..

All I have to say is... THEY ARE GREAT!!!
If you live anywhere near the San Fernando Valley in southern CA I would say go to them. They are a family run business and have been there for a long time. The service dept. has done everything from oil changes to the coolant flush to installing coilivers and sways on my cars and they have been top notch all the way! They really have never done me wrong and have gone out of their way to make things right without complaining or questioning my intelligence. GREAT customer service!
I promise I don't work for them, I am just really happy they are my dealer. Especially after reading some people's experiences at other dealerships.
