When I wash my hair, I usually put my hair in about 4-6 sections after I wet it in the shower. Ummm...after that I shampoo one section at a time, and after I shampoo a section I totally DRENCH the section in conditioner...LOL. After all the sections are washed and drenching with conditioner I take my shower comb and comb through my hair from the ends to the roots. Then I take my denman brush and repeat. Once all the sections are detangled I rinse out like...80% of the conditioner [mind you thats just like....a guess-timation..I'm pretty sure I dont REALLY rinse out approximately 80% but...you get the point..LOL]. Umm...after I get outta the shower, I scrunch my hair with a towel a little bit. Most of the time I'll just squeeze the water outta each section with my hands [no towel]. I dont towel dry my hair...I just try to catch all the drippies. I usually wont scrunch it at all and I'll just apply my leave in while my hair is still mostly wet [after I unbraid the sections] so it'll be distributed more evenly so that I dont use as much product. Then I just go on and style my hair [or just leave it alone]. I only use my gel when I do a puff or when I pull it back into my banana clip.

I really only detangle my hair in the shower. I dont usually comb or clear out my hair unless it's drenched in conditioner. I only use my boar bristle brush when I'm smoothing my hair down with gel.

If I want to restlye my hair, I'll just wet it with my spray bottle or wet it when i'm in the shower.

Yo...tell me why....

...the place I was gettin my hair cut at...doesnt wash and blow dry your hair!!! AINT THAT A MESS??...I didn't get my hair cut yet. I'm gettin it cut tomorrow...but STILL*gosh*. Anyway...tell me why I did this pre-poo treatment last night with honey, my suave moisturing conditioner and Queen Helene's Jojoba Hot oil treatment *thinkin i was goin to get my hair done today*...and when I rinsed it out today...OOOO my hair was TOO SOFT!!! I wish my batteries weren't dead in my camera cause I really wanted to take a picture of that...oh my goodness...it was unbelieveable...I was so suprised!!

That was my first time doin a pre-poo treatment and let me tell you.......there'll be more where that came from!! At first, I was like...*that shampoo that they're gonna use is gonna dry the mess outta my hair*...so then I started mixin the honey with the conditioner and then i put some jojoba in there...and i noticed it smelled mad good! So then I parted my hair in four sections and put the pre-poo in my hair and i was gettin mad *cause i dont like sticky stuff on my hands....*but I was lovin the way my curls were defining themselves! So I *washed my hands..*put a shower cap on....tied my headtie on....and went to sleep...I had no idea that it would condition as good as it did. I was so happy!!

I didnt measure how much of each i used....but i kept adding each one until i liked the consistency of it...since I AM experimenting and all....I think im gonna try it with a different conditioner next time...but....today's results were off the hook!!
