Charles ‘Chappy’ Arthur Nagle of Honey Brook

Charles “Chappy” Arthur Nagle (aka Bulldog), 86, of Honey Brook, died Monday, May 19, 2008, at Coatesville VA Medical Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Trudy Nagle.

Born Aug. 17, 1921, in Reading, he was the son of the late John and Effie Nagle.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II as a sergeant and was a Pearl Harbor survivor as well as a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge.

In his spare time, he enjoyed the seashore, golf and bowling.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, John, Joel and David; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later time.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Auer Memorial Home & Cremation Services Inc., Harrisburg.
