I have finally figured out what the problem is.

I must have fiddled with my security settings a hundred times but missed the "Binary and Script Behaviours" setting which was disabled. Duhhh....

Now it is enabled the maps, at least, are now working properly.

I still cannot open attachments in Outlook, but obviously the problem is not related. My friend says she has the same problem with her Outlook at work.

I'm afraid I had a "bad experience" with Firefox... Which is why I now have Windows XP, new hard-drive, and lost all my files (grrrr). Luckily, I had Fotki so I didn't lose my photos!

The weird thing is that I had no problem viewiung things in the past. I don't know what happened. First few weeks, everything worked fine. Suddenly, Outlook glitch and the Google Map thingie... Nothing else, just those two things.

    Weird.

OK, can we put Map menu choice to the bottom of the list on the left side menu?

I don't think this feature is as useful as other features realted to Photo Albums.

Not so hot if you don't know how to use it!!!
Read the information contained in this journal above!!!
Fotki staff gave a pretty good explanation with graphics and text description above... then experiment, do some locations yourself, trial and error... then ask for help,,, GaryGS1 in Nj-USA
