mw138's Hair Regimine

Here is the hair regimine I have adopted since beginning my hair journey almost two years ago.

1. Wash weekly with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo.
2. Clarify weekly with Suave Clarifying Shampoo.
3. Deep condition weekly with Silicon Mix Conditioner.
4. Moisturize daily with KeraCare Conditioning Creme Hairdress.
5. Apply henna to my hair once a month for extra protein (strength) and color. I use 2 parts henna to 1 part indigo (with a little alma oil & suave conditioner mixed in).
6. Touch-up with ORS Olive Oil No-lye relaxer every 12 weeks.
7. Dusting/trim ONLY when needed. I used to get a trim every 6 months, but as the health of my hair increased, I needed trims less frequently.

* I rarely use a flat or curling iron on my hair.

* After washing my hair I apply a dime-sized amount of Lacio Lacio leave-in conditioner followed by a dime-sized amount of Biosilk serum (I use the generic version from Sally's) and amla oil to seal my ends.

* I rollerset my hair weekly and sit under a standing dryer for approximately 50 minutes.

* In order to keep my curls throughout the week, I pincurl each night and sleep with a bonnet on my head. My pillow also has a satin pillowcase just in case. :)

* Occasionally, when I don't feel like applying henna to my hair, I will use ORS Hair Mayo for extra protein.

* I do frequent Dominican salons, but usually only on special occasions. My hair always comes out BEAUTIFUL, but the heat they use is no joke!

I have tried many regimines and many products over the past year and a half, but this one seems to work best for me, so I'm sticking to it! :)
