Help I need tips lol im new at this natural hair thing but seeing everyone esle has inspired me so much that i want to pursue it more i was only 14 when i made the big chop i had cut my shoulder length hair all the way up to my scalp with about only two inches yup yup . I was tired of perms so about february 6th(not exact date) i cut all my hair off and ive been loving it ever since .It does get hard sometimes but im learning to manage and deal with it.

I have a new challenge im not going to put any heat into my hair until my one year anniversary thats about two months from now and if my hair shows any progress then i will stick too it but so far im doing good i know that once i hit a year better things will come i have made it this far so i know that i will survive once i hit a year.. it hasn't been all easy peasy but every time a see a gurl with a broken off perm it makes me happy to know that i will never have to go down that stressful road again good luck to everyone thats growing their hair whether its permed or natural healthy hair is good hair

im going to blow dry my hair once every month if i have too keep it braided and moisturized no more pulling and cutting and more moisture i hope to get to atleast shoulder length in two to three months
