I figured it out....
I can take the vitamins but I have to use more restraint for about a week then it kinda balanced out, so I guess that's that.
I have been trying to make my way to a frutarian. Basically I would be eating raw organic fruits(85%), veggies, some nuts, and grains. As of right now I am vegetarian but I am still eating processed foods like pancackes (water instead of milk & no egg)and cooked foods like pasta and sauce. I have been wanting to make the next leap forward but I guess I was a little afraid to.
The last few days the only thing I had out of my goal diet was one portion of pasta and sauce with veggies(well the veggies were stir-fry but still cooked) so I am taking this to mean that I am ready and I am not really worried.
Whenever I decide to eliminate something from my diet I always do a little housekeeping by taking a daily cleanser for awhile. This time I have decided to do an out and out cleanse for 7 days. I begin in the morning Saturday April 1st and I finish the following friday. I think I will make it a point to write in this journal each of these days for later reflection.
I was 206lbs a couple of days ago but I feel lighter today. Although I haven't been on the scale I am sure I lost another couple of lbs because the last few days have been when I have been eating differently. Fruit is very cleansing to the body and if you eat meat and dairy and expect to jump into a fruitarian lifestyle just be prepared to spend about a week on the cold white seat! I would not have had a problem so much with doing it that way but with small children I need to be able to keep a constant eye on them. Plus I wanted my husband to take the journey with me and I know he would not have gone for it then. However since giving up meat and MOST of his dairy he is always commenting on how he feels so much better. Then when he has to go to field and eat MRE(army's equivalent of astronaut food)he feels like crap. So now he is on board full steam ahead:D
