Many of you may think that there is no difference between a regular hair dresser, a hair extensionist and a hair replacement artist.
Let me educate you. While all of the above are (should be) licensed cosmetologist, I like to use the doctor analogy. You see, if you have a cold you would go to your general practitioner. He or she could take care of your basic needs, write you a prescription, and give you advice.
If your eyesight is bad, you would go to see an optometrist, one who could check your eyes and give you glasses or contacts....but if you want vision correction surgery and your optometrist does not do that, you would go see an eye surgeon.
I am in no way comparing myself to a doctor. I am just using the analogy.
A regular hair dresser is a general practitioner. She/he may dabble in this and that; can shampoo your hair, relax it, color it (if you're lucky that she/he understands color) may do a mean style but that's it. She may also be able to glue in some tracks for you or sew in some.
A hair extensionist is basically someone who applies hair extensions. That's it. They just put in the hair and they aren't really going to cut it for you, color it or style it. If you have issues with hair loss or alopecia, regular hair extensions are probably not going to help you a great deal, especially if you have alopecia, because an extensionist is not equipped with the knowledge to give you solutions to make you look better.
A non-surgical hair replacement specialist, which is what I am, in addition to a hair extensionist and hair designer, can address any hair loss solution cosmetically, dramatically improving your self esteem, your appearance and your quality of life.
I swear, sometimes I look at my alopecia clients and I can't believe they are wearing hair and I put it in!
So, it doesn't matter if you have hair damage, breakage, or alopecia, I can make you look as if you have a full head of hair, even if you have alopecia totalis....even if the solution is a full lace wig or a full cranial prosthesis.
I hope this was educational for you.
HAIR COLOR IS A SCIENCE.......NOT A GUESSING GAME.........

If your hair dresser colors your hair with box color that YOU can buy from the drugstore, run!
It clearly means that she or he is not a colorist, just a hair dresser.
Unless one fully understands the color wheel, the primary colors and how the natural color of the client and the existing applied colors will react with newly applied color, most likely, they are not going to achieve YOUR DESIRED COLOR GOAL.
I am aware that mostly no one reading this is an art major or a colorist/stylist, so I am not going to bore you with the color wheel or primary colors, but just TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU that if you are desiring a specific color for your hair, I can give it to you, provided you don't have anything on your hair chemical-wise that would hinder me from getting you there.
Hey, and if you have chemicals on your hair that would stand in the way, there is always hair extensions!

I SERVICE ALL ETHNIC GROUPS.
I have mastered many hair
extension/replacement
techniques. I honestly don't
believe that there is anywhere
in my immediate area that is as
knowledgeable about hair replacement
as I am.
The techniques I currently do are:
-Custom Fusion/MEGA HAIR
(also known as great lengths,
Cinderella hair, SoCap....etc.
.it's all the same thing).
This technique is ideal for
those who want to create length.
You have the ultimate in versatility
with this technique. Your natural
hair should be at least 6 inches
in length....but if it isn't, I can
combine techniques to give you
a completed look. Hair is added
to your hair with a protein adhesive
close to the scalp. This is known
as strand by strand.
Lasts 3-5 months, depending on
the rate of hair growth.
-MICRO INDIES
The same rules as fusion apply here.
This is a strand by strand technique
that requires no heat or adhesives.
-SEAMLESS HAIR
This is a super fast technique using
skin wefts and a medical grade tape.
Lies super flat and lasts 4-6 weeks.
-CLIP IN HAIR--very temporary
-TREE BRAIDING-these are invisible
braids that are best suited for textured
hair.
-LACE FRONT WIGS-these wigs
were once only available to cancer
patients and theatrical productions
but are now becoming mainstream.
I don't recommend long term wear for
anyone with a healthy head of hair.
-FULL LACE WIGS-same as above
except the lace is all over, allowing
wearer to wear high ponytails
and ANY STYLE. These are
ALWAYS CUSTOM ordered by me.
Believe me, you don't want a stock wig.
adhesives can last 3 days to 6 weeks.
-LACE FRONTALS-a less expensive
alternative to a full lace wig. Half of a
lace wig applied to the front of the head
with other method applied to the
back.
-MY SIGNATURE DIVA DREAM....A FLAT
AND SMOOTH NO BRAID SEW- IN
SUITABLE FOR ALL ETHNIC GROUPS
Don't even try to fathom a sew in that
isn't anchored by braids. You have to
see it in order to wrap your brain around
it. :-) If your hair is at least 1 inch long,
you are a candidate for this method.
-NETTING METHOD....GREAT FOR
THINNING HAIR AND BALD SPOTS
This is my second most popular
technique....because many people
suffer from alopecia due to many reasons,
especially neglecting the health of their
own hair. Lasts 2-3 months..depending
on rate of hair growth. Not recommended
for those with flaky scalps or dandruff.
-BRAIDED SEW- IN
-SMART WEAVE _braided flat to the
head so there is minimal bulk. This is
a fast technique to do.
I APPLY INDIVIDUAL EYELASH
EXTENSIONS AND STRIPS AS WELL.

In addition to being a master hair
replacement artist, I am a master colorist
and sculptor (HAIR CUTTER) and THIS
allows me to customize hair extensions
for your individual needs.
You will confidently wear them and no
one will know unless you tell
them....which I hope you will

I cater to the woman who appreciates
PRIVACY and QUALITY and undetectable
hair additions.
I DO NOT DOUBLE/TRIPLE BOOK.
What this means is that if you have
booked an appointment for hair
extensions and paid your deposit,
when you arrive, you are the guest of
honor. I will only be working on you.
Because I don't double book,
if you book an appointment
and don't show up, when you
rebook, there will be a missed
appointment fee added
to your service.
This goes for my non-weave wearing
clients as well.

There is a consultation fee........which will be quoted to you when you book the consultation. Fee is paid before consultation begins.
All appointments for hair extension
services require a minimum 50% deposit
to secure the appointment.
Of course, your deposit will be applied
towards your service but is
NON-REFUNDABLE. All deposits are
good for 4 months, however. This
would only be applicable to you if you book
your appointment, cancel and decide
to get your service within the next 4 months.
In that case, you must pay the remaining
half of my quoted price when you rebook.
New clients must pay me BEFORE I
begin working on their hair....when
they arrive.......NO EXCEPTIONS.
It's not that I don't trust you.......it's
just that life's lessons have taught
me to require advance payment.
