Thirty-Five Thousand and Counting...

I know this might not seem a big deal to some of you, but it is to me. I have over 35,000 pictures uploaded to this FOTKI account. That's quite a bit of picture-taking...and I'm still taking...even though I might not be quite as fast as I used to be at it. Ha! :-)

Hi all!

I finally am using this account (photo site) for my photography. I opened the account in July 2003, a year ago. I really didn't know if I wanted to upgrade this account to PREMIUM because I had been using WebShots (two accounts there...one personal and one ministry) for a few years now as well as the ImageStation account since April 2002. (I ditched another account, which I will NOT divulge the name!)

The ImageStation account is the SECOND personal one as well as the regular back-up. I'm still keeping the ImageStation account as back-up for the ministry one and this one. I might be probably fixing to overload myself with more photography, but I really have been greatly blessed with this gift. At least, that is what I have been told. I'm NO Amsel Adams, mind you. But, I still enjoy photography and have been greatly encouraged to continue on. Praise God! :-)

Well, I guess that is it for now. I'll be working on this site more and hopefully, it will become larger with more photographs, etc. So, just stay tuned! Thanks!

Dear FOTKI...What has happened?!?!?!

I've been a FOTKI member since July of 2003...and my current subscription is good until June of 2017. I have never been as disappointed in FOTKI as I have been recently. I have well over 79,000 photos on FOTKI in hundreds of albums. I have checked my photos again today (March 4th, 2013) and I can tell that some of my photos still appear to be offline! I am still disgusted that the photos are not online. I am ashamed of how our photos have been treated. I did pay EXTRA so my originals can be stored as well. If I haven't been such of a loyal and paying FOTKI supporter and customer for almost a decade, I would've posted my photos elsewhere. It's hard to try to exactly transfer over 79,000 photos, ya know! (But, I will say that I have appreciated the ability to organize the FOTKI albums into folders. Unfortunately, FACEBOOK does not have that capability...and I have many photo albums there...well over 375 with over 40,000 photos.) I don't want to leave FOTKI, but if they don't get their act together... A few weeks ago, I did read a statement (or email or whatever) from FOTKI informing me that new servers would be installed and that some of my 79,000 (and more!) photos would appear to be offline. Well, I have checked my photos again today (March 4th, 2013) and I can tell that some of my photos still appear to be offline! I am still disgusted that the photos are not online and I have been a loyal paying FOTKI support and customer since July of 2003. I am ashamed of how our photos have been treated. Sorry, but I do feel this way...and I would like to know when all of my photos will be back online.
