this is very sad news. I only met Petra for the first time this last year, as you know, but got to see her warmth and wisdom very quickly--and we've all seen more of that on this blog.
Gidday Trust you have had a relaxing few days. We have painted and weeded and whipped Carmel girls into shape..more or less. Will be holding my breath for the last few chords tho. Both of us actively job seeking. Grrr. Thinking of you both tomorrow. Best Luck, Hugs & kisses. Jo
Hi Ross (and Dee), The journal is a great way of including us otherwise useless people in this awful story. May the thoughts and very best wishes of a troublesome (but eternally grateful) ex student vest with you. Marcus.
Hi Ross & Dee.It's difficult to work out what to say in times like this, when even bugger seems totally inadequate! As much as you both can, keep smiling and know our thoughts & prayers are with you both. G&J.
Just a short note to thanks for the dinners and the precious time we spent together. It was hard leaving everyone. Bestest prayers with you tomorrow. loving you, Maree
You sound amazingly good for all the crap you've been through, Ross. Day Zero, or...the first day of the rest of your new life! I'm there in just a week, and hope to find you home and happy.
Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you (hear those lovely four-part chords with multiple ringing overtones?), Happy birthday dear Ro---ss, Happy birthday to you!
okay -- i'll be there tonight and hope to see someone. Dee? Saul? otherwise i'll get my fix on my own. And i'll probably be there every night this week at that time (reward after a hard day's work)
Hey Ross - Happy Birthday old pal. I agree - the finger ends thing is horrid. Took a while, but mine came right again after the chemo finished. Sorry not to see you in Auckland - next time. love, Pxx
